The event fired off with a Key note by Sana Arshad, emphasizing the importance of knowledge sharing and the impact it can have on our careers. She also discussed the Objective of this community and highlighted its aims and underlying purpose.

Microsoft had launched Visual Studio 2010 a day before our event, so Muhammad Aurangzeb availed the opportunity to talk about this exciting launch, and discussed how Microsoft had improved upon this IDE and added many interesting features and controls, much to all .NET developers delight.

Next in line was a discussion on the ground-breaking product release of Visual F#, a succinct and expressive typed functional programming language. Sharing his experience, Faheem Sohail emphasized on its strong support for parallelism and concurrency, through its support for immutability.

The release of Silverlight 4 had been welcomed with much agitation and enthusiasm by developers all over the world, and surely it has received an animated response. Hussain Ahmed was among the many people who had been waiting anxiously for its release and he shared with us a detailed analysis of its improved version.

Everyone has heard of the term called Cloud Computing, but many of us are still unaware of the power it has unleashed for the IT community. The fact that cloud computing is becoming a growing focus of attention right now seems to be no accident. Nauman Khalid addressed the guests on the basic concepts of cloud computing and its use through Windows Azure Platform.

As name of our community describes and says about it all, we bunch of engineers from different background were striving hard for a platform, our first accomplishment was to bring all resources and people together to produce a much stronger tide, we thank you everyone who contributed with their brilliant ideas, efforts out of the busy routine we all are strangled in, in short we scampered for an activity to get it started and we ended up profusely.

We hope that this informative session was well understood by many, as presenters had a strong hold on the technologies they discussed; lead by healthy refreshment in the end too :-), we thank all our honorable guests for gracing our feeble attempt.

Events highlights would be given shortly, we promise enlightment of what we know, and what others know to those who want to know, so be the part of community, help us take up the mission that is for the perfect cause, with your help and effort surely we will rise to distinction.

The First Milestone Round the Corner!

TechX Sharebase community is opening its wings today with the first event ready to go underway. Distinguished speakers and guests are joining in to make the event a success. With captivating launch ceremony of VS2010 and in-depth tech-talks by well known industry players, scheduled for the occasion, the excitement is rising with every passing minute.
